Marie-Louise Favre was born in 1993. In 2011, she graduated from the Lycée Français "Victor Hugo" in Sofia from with high honours.
She moved to Paris to pursue her higher education and enrolled in the very competitive "Classes préparatoires" system, studying economics. She was awarded the merit-based “Excellence Major” scholarship by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for outstanding academic achievement.
She was then admitted to ESCP Europe-Business School, the world’s first business school est.1819, to pursue a "Grande Ecole" - Master in Management. During her studies she lived in Paris and London. As part of her studies she worked as an Advisor for the Bulgarian Mission to the United Nations in New York in 2015.
In 2016, she took a gap year, where she completed an internship in the sustainable finance division of the investment bank Natixis in Paris, and she interned as a Data Analyst for Criteo in Barcelona. Since September 2017 she has been completing her final year at ESCP Europe, majoring in Corporate Finance and she started a Masters degree in Business Law at Sorbonne University.
Marie-Louise is fluent in Bulgarian, French, English, Spanish and Russian. She enjoys gastronomy and is passionate about sustainable development.
