Tsvetelina Penkova

Tsvetelina Penkova was born on 19.02.1988 in Sofia. She studied at the Sofia School of Mathematics, before transferring to the American College of Sofia, from which she obtained her high-school diploma. She obtained an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Central European University, where her studies were funded with the 'Study abroad scholarship'. She pursued a second bachelor’s degree in International Economics, Management and Finance at Bocconi University in Milan, where she graduated with First Class Honors. During her studies in Italy, Tsvetelina spend an exchange semester abroad, at McGill University in Montreal. Following her undergraduate studies, Tsvetelina graduated from the University of Oxford with a MSc in Financial Economics. Her studies at Oxford were funded by the 'EU scholarship'. Throughout her academic career, Tsvetelina held several internships in various fields and companies, such as ING, Egon Zehnder International, and Astra Zeneca. Following her studies, Tsvetelina spend 3 years as an investment banker at RBS in London. Since the start of 2017, Tsvetelina has worked in the strategy team of asset management company Hayfin, in London.
